When I was a toddler I fell into the Birmingham ship canal. 1969/70? I want to say thank you to the group of boys on the tow path that threw down their bikes and ran to save me. One lay on the bank and held my hand whilst his friends alerted my father, who rushed in and pulled me out. I think my father was too upset to say 'thank you'. But I have never forgotten you. Thank you for saving my life.
